Rev. Solomuzi Mabuza has a distinguished record of advocacy and leadership. He notably served as the youngest Chairperson of the Board of Management at the Church Land Programme for six years.
Mabuza represented the World Council of Churches at the Doha Global Civil Society and Doha Review Conference in 2008, held under the auspices of the United Nations.
Additionally, he led a delegation of young people from various African countries to Thailand for the World Alliance of Young Men’s Christian Association Transformational Youth Leadership Programme in 2008. Mabuza holds a Bachelor of Theology (Honours) from the University of Natal.
Following his appointment to the GPF board, he assumed a pivotal role within the Gauteng Ethics Advisory Council (GEAC). His responsibilities encompassed leading GEAC’s Work Stream 2, focusing on the intricate domains of Stakeholder Engagement and Events Management.
Concurrently, he garnered further recognition for his expertise, as he was selected by the MEC for Economic Development to serve as the Deputy Chairperson of the Gauteng Gambling Board.
