Craig J Cornish

Cornish is the CEO of Mining Civil Construction and Services, a company that specializes in underground mining, civil construction, and mechanical services; and the CEO of East2West Holdings (Pty) Ltd, which is a corporate advisory and investment holdings firm.

He served as the Chairperson of the Finance Committee, and later as Board Chairperson of Ekurhuleni Water Care Company (ERWAT), a bulk water treatment municipal entity of the City of Ekurhuleni Metro. He has served as a member of the advisory panel to the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry on the Black Industrialist policy. He has also worked in various auditing portfolios at the South African Revenue Services.

Cornish successfully completed a National Diploma in Accounting at the Wits Technikon, a Senior Management Development Program at the University of Stellenbosch Business School, and a Forensic and Investigative Auditing Program from the University of South Africa.

As socio-economic activist, Cornish has served as a Board Member of various community governance organisations in education, security, and sports.

He currently serves as the Board Chairperson of the ALMAC Development Centre, an organisation that actively participates in community development programs on in the far east of the City of Ekurhuleni.
