Purpose Statement
Design and implement the full spectrum of value adding HR interventions to enable the Gauteng Partnership Fund (GPF) to realise its strategy through capable people. This involves the development and implementation of the GPF’s HR strategy and operational plan. Strategically manage and optimize the value and potential of employees. Align Human Capital management strategy to drive engagement, productivity and value through partnering with business such that HR programmes are transformative, meet existing and emerging needs throughout the various cycles of business. Direct people practices and ensure that investment yields effective workforce planning, bench strength, strategic risk coverage, and an optimal learning curve for various levels of experience. Champion employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, key skills retention, leadership development and succession planning. Proactively introduce relevant organisational development programmes in line with a multigenerational workforce and a rapidly changing world of work.
Minimum Requirements
▪ Bachelor’s Degree (NQF level 7) in Human Resource Management / Business Management / Industrial Psychology
▪ Postgraduate qualification (NQF level 8) in Human Resources Management / Business Management / Industrial Psychology
▪ Registered Member of the South African Board of People Practices (SABPP) at the level of Chartered or Master HR Professional or Equivalent will be an advantage
▪ At least 8 years’ experience at a HR Management / HR Lead Specialist level in the public entity or private sector. Preference will be given to candidates from Development Finance Institutions and the Banking Industry.
▪ In depth understanding and experience covering all aspects of Human Resources Management
▪ Proven track record as an HR Manager or equivalent in a related stream
▪ Proven ability to liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels
▪ Proven track record in leading and implementing Organisational Development Programmes, Change Management and Employee Engagement Programmes will be an advantage.
